There is no need to buy lots of expensive sailing gear, as we will supply all of the specialised equipment you will need. Bring warm lose fitting clothing. Please also bring hats, gloves, a high factor sun cream and sun glasses.
Depending on the time of year you may well want to bring your swimming and sun bathing gear. We do insist on you wearing soft non mark shoes. Deck shoes are ideal, non mark trainers are fine and suggest you bring two pairs (in case one pair gets wet).
Please remember to pack a pillow and sleeping bag.
Last but not least please pack all your gear in a soft, collapsible holdall type bag that can be easily stowed away during the trip.
(The following does not apply to single or part day trips)
We pride ourselves on the provisioning of the boat and great emphasis is placed on fresh food. All meals onboard, tea, coffee and orange etc are included in the cost of your trip. We also run an Honesty Bar for cans and alcoholic drinks. Please inform us of any special dietary considerations you may have and we will try our best to oblige.
After a full day's sailing, we like to help you relax and will serve wine with evening meals on board. There will also be plenty of opportunity to eat ashore in local pubs and bistros. The exact details vary as appropriate for each trip.
On longer trips, you will be expected to be a full member of the crew including taking your turn in cleaning up and at the stove. For those of you who need to contact the outside world , there is a 12V car cigarette lighter socket on board which you may use to charge your mobile phone.
